Highways, Roads and Bridges

One of the most common types of projects that we handle involves highways, roads, and bridges. We are frequently engaged well before the project is completed to navigate change orders or the claims process in an effort to resolve, if possible, those issues before formal dispute resolution is necessary, and to position our clients to be better prepared or informed should litigation or arbitration be unavoidable.

Arbitration of infrastructure projects has become more frequent than ever before with the growing reliance by public entities on alternative project delivery methods such as design-build. Large Louisiana contractors have become subcontractors on design-build projects, and those subcontracts routinely call for mediation and arbitration to resolve disputes.

Our offices are off the beaten path and away from the traffic and turmoil, close to Baton Rouge in the Feliciana Parishes.
